29 9 KW CMC 7 window balance replacement

Question

Hi, I'm trying to find help repairing my window's springs because they are failing.

I found a little white stamp in the corner of my window that said Coastal Glass Distributors, so I looked them up their website and found some information. I have pulled the springs out and they appear to be in good shape but I don't understand why they don't hold the window's up.

I have four window's that need the springs replaced (two per window). The window dimensions are 51" X 60-1/2". The spring is 18" on the inside of the assembly and whole assembly is 30-3/4" total.

There is a number lightly marked on the side of the assembly 29 9 KW CMC 7.

Good morning, and thanks for posting! Sounds like you already did my work for me. Your assessment looks pretty on the ball. I would just double check to make sure that all the shoe dimensions match up with your original balance, and that the weight definitely falls under our 2965 option. Other than that, I think you're good to go!
