ALUMAX Spiral Balance

This is from a ALUMAX window from maybe the 80's. White plastic cover is 21" long. Retention hole on top for placement of screw. Internal metal piece "floats" inside and rotates as pull/push within plastic cover. Internal metal piece is twisted and is 1.5" longer than external plastic housing.

This is a spiral balance. Measure the diameter of the outer tube. It should be either 3/8" or 5/8". If it's 3/8", this appears to be a Series 900. If it's 5/8", see the Series 600.
