We were able to modify the
32-039 to work on the Anderson Hickey desk, and wanted to post since this seems to be an issue a lot of people are having. This is what we did:
1)Push central post out
2)Break off four tabs
3)Gently pry T-shaped plug out without damaging it
4)Drill STRAIGHT down with a 1/4" drill bit
5)Replace plug in wheel
6)Using E6000 or silicone glue, place small amount on base of metal post of drawer
7) Push wheel on with wide base of plug facing down to set on glue at base of metal post
8) Let glue dry before replacing drawer
Make absolutely sure you don't overdo it with the glue, or the glue can push out and glue the plug to the wheel so it won't roll. Alternately, you can try to glue the plug on first, wider side down as above, then try to push the wheel on after the glue dries - I didn't want to take a chance on breaking the glue bond by manipulating the wheel onto the plug. Good luck, worked like a charm for us!
