Window is a white double hung Simonton that is about 20 years old. Plastic that holds the spring cracked. Window got stuck. Number on spring is 408. Also the pins that screw into the window are broken. Would like to replace all the parts in the assembly. Want to replace both the right and left side. Thanks

Hello! Your broken pivot bar in your second photo looks just like our 26-336. I'm confident this will work for you as a replacement.

Your Simonton pivot shoe is no longer made, however. Our 15-192 can replace it, but it won't be compatible with the 26-336. The reason for this is because the metal cam doesn't have a "slot" that accepts the wide collar on the tip of the 26-336.

There are two solutions for this. The first, and easiest, is to reuse your old center cam in the new pivot shoe. Your old cam presumably has the appropriate slot.

The second solution is to grind down the collar on the tip of the 26-336.

Let me know what you think!
