I would like to order two replacement channel balances. Please see attached photos, which are labeled as top or bottom of the balance. If you need more information, please let me know.

Hey there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. We're happy to help with this. Can you show us a photo of the inside of the balance's metal channel where the innerspring connects to the pulley mechanism? That'd be located in the middle of the channel. Can you also measure the depth of the bottom shoe and tell us what you get?

Here's the photo you requested of the inner spring/pulley mechanism. As for the depth of the bottom shoe, I wasn't sure which measurement you wanted, so I took two different measurements of the bottom shoe: 1) bottom to top (1 1/16") and 2) front to back (1 1/16"). Please see attached photos and let me know if this answers your questions. Thanks!

Thank you for the additional photos! Our S380-30 and S385-30 channel balances resemble what you show here. The Series 380 has a 1" deep shoe and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" deep shoe. I'm afraid we don't have a shoe that measures 1-1/16" deep so you may want to double-check to be safe.

If it's indeed 1-1/16" deep, I wonder if the shoe was once 1-3/32" and wore down over time from use. Let me know what you think.

Thanks for the photos to confirm the measurement. I double-checked and it does look to be 1 3/32", so the S385-30 looks to be correct. Shall I go ahead and order from your website? If so, can you clarify what the available listed options are (e.g. 2910, 2920, etc.)?

Also, if for some reason the channel balance does not work out, what is your return policy?

You can disregard my questions, as I now see what the options mean, i.e. the weight of the sash. Also I see your returns policy on your website. Thanks so much for your help. I'll go ahead and place the order now.
