I am looking for a sash guide similar to a 18-188, but with a retainer lip on the middle edge.

Thanks for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, we don't sell an exact match for this. The 18-009, 18-166, and 18-188 appear to be our closest options. If you haven't already, take a look at the specifications and see if one of them matches what you need.

Thank you. The only problem I see with your suggestions (18-166,& 18-009 ) is the wide top edge, or the flaired top.
Can the edges of the top be trimmed off without loss of strength?

Yes, the tops can indeed be trimmed off. We just recommend you wear safety gloves when trimming to be safe.
